Greater than 90% of particles are spherical. Microspheres are supplied in dry powder form. No solvents are used in the manufacturing process. Polyethylene beads can be used to produce porous ceramics by burning out the polymer.
Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and need to be coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend Tween 80 Bio-compatible Surfactant.
