本机可作拉伸、压缩、弯曲、剪切试验。该机有自动调零、换档、标定功能。试验过程能按预定程序自动进行，控制方法有：载荷恒速率、载荷定值、载荷恒值、定值范围内的循环控制；变形恒速控制，变形定值控制，定值内循环控制；变形恒值控制、位移恒速控制，上、下行程定值控制，上、下行程定值内的循环控制。该机拖动系统采用英国AMK公司的高精度如数字控制单元ku，速度比可达1:15000，数据采集和处理采用现代流行的商用机，Windows下的汉化界面自动打印试验结果和曲线，曲线可进行局部放大，试验结果数据库管理，并可随时查询和重现试验全过程。
