本仪器是根据中华人民共和国标准GB/T5096《石油产品铜片腐蚀试验法》所规定的要求设计制造的，适用于按该标准所规定的试验法，评定航空汽油、航空涡轮燃料、车用汽油、农用拖拉机燃料、洗涤溶剂、煤油馏分燃料和润滑油等石油产品对铜片腐蚀的程度。
