本仪器是按照中华人民共和国行业标准中华人民共和国标准GB/T261《石油产品闪点测定法(闭口杯法)》所规定的要求设计制造的。适用于按此标准所规定的方法，测定石油产品用闭口杯、在规定条件下,加热到它的蒸汽与空气的混合气接触火焰发生闪火时的最低温度，即闭口杯法闪点。
