Porvair收购Thomas Cain ,并与赛默飞合作开发并推广生命科学专用过滤器

2013年9月26日，专业过滤和环境科技集团Porvair plc(以下简称为：Porvair )今天宣布，其已经与赛默飞世尔公司签署了一项技术许可协议。

　　根据该项协议， Porvair与赛默飞世尔将商业化一系列专用生命科学样品前处理过滤器。Porvair已经授权了它的过滤技术，并将生产该系列产品。赛默飞世尔将负责过滤器产品的全球销售和市场推广。

Licensing agreement with Thermo Fisher Scientific and Acquisition of Thomas Cain Inc

Porvair plc ("Porvair"), the specialist filtration and environmental technology group today, today announces two agreements to advance its interests in the life science and environmental laboratory markets.

A technology licensing agreement has been struck with Thermo Electron Manufacturing Ltd, a division of Thermo Fisher Scientific ("Thermo"), a global leader in scientific and laboratory supplies.  Under this agreement, Porvair and Thermo will commercialise an exclusive range of life science sample preparation filters.  Porvair has licensed its filter technology and will manufacture the products.  Thermo will undertake sales and marketing of the filters worldwide.

In an unrelated agreement, Porvair has acquired the business and assets of Thomas Cain Inc, a manufacturer of environmental laboratory equipment and consumables.  This small acquisition will add a complementary range of block digestion instruments and consumables to Seal's water quality analysis products.  The business will be integrated into Seal Analytical's operation in Wisconsin, USA.
