Background

The mouse anti-Rainbow trout Immuoglobulin (H) Chain

antibody can be used to detect Onchorhynchus parasites

(bacteria or viruses) indirectly by detecting parasite specific

immunoglobulins from Oncorhynchus trout and salmon. Uses

of this antibody include detecting unknown parasites by

monitoring the levels of serum immunoglobulins in salmon

stock and to measure the efficacy of salmonid vaccines.
